Yoga is a perfect solution to cure diabetes and to boost immune system

Diabetes is spreading just like a wildfire and this disease has even started gripping the teenagers and children. The main cause of diabetes is obesity and sedentary lifestyle of people. Exercise is must for every individual but the life style of people does not allow doing exercises by spending so much time in gyms or other work-out area. Yoga is one of the perfect solutions for people who are suffering from diabetes. As most doctors or physicians advise exercise to the diabetic patient, it is good but is not enough to cure diabetes perfectly. Light jogging or walking is good for a diabetic patient but yoga helps in reducing the blood sugar level amazingly if done properly.

Yoga is actually an ancient art of India and it comprises of different kinds of Asnas or Mudras (yogic physical exercises). The main motive of Yoga is to boost the spiritual development which plays a vital role in curing diabetes from its roots. Pranayam is one of the crucial breathing exercises of yoga and it is extremely advantageous to cure diabetes. Another asana is Shalabh Asana which has gained popularity in reducing the blood sugar level. Yoga is not only to cure diseases of body but it is really effective for the development of soul and mind.

You can easily do Shalabh Aasana by lying on your abdomen over a mat with face down. Make sure that your chin should also touch the mat and leave the hands outstretched so that they can touch the mat too. Keep the legs close to each other and raise the legs in the air so that the weight of your upper body gets transferred into your palms. Try to repeat the same asana up to at least 5 times a day. So, you can try these asanas but make sure to get incorporated with knowledge to eat right foods as it is essential for a diabetic patient.
